People pleaser? Can't say no? Many of us feel like this and "no" may not be in our vocabulary. When we do things that we find difficult it can put added pressure on ourselves, increasing stress and worry. Often we suppress these feelings and internalise them, just so we don't upset others. We also prioritise other people's need over our own.
Honouring our own needs and having strong boundaries is important as part of our personal health and wellbeing.
"No" is a word that we have been conditioned not to use as it may offend others. We can be fearful of standing out from the crowd and using our voice.
On this workshop we will be practice putting ourself first and using our "NO." We will spend time reflecting upon experiences and situations where we have found it difficult to say NO and where this comes from. To overcome the resistance of using our NO we will practice flipping the narrative and refraiming these beliefs.
