
About this Event
This workshop is for women who are currently working and can bring their successes/challenges to share with others in the class.
Empowerment in the Workplace (EIW) is a new PA Women Work offering designed to give professional women tools to overcome workplace challenges and to maximize their workplace impact.
EIW consists of a full day of interactive classroom time.
Topics covered include:
- Establishing presence and projecting confidence
- Building a network of supporters
- Overcoming imposter syndrome
- Being heard in group settings
- Saying no / setting workplace boundaries
- Negotiating to get what you want
- Hearing from women who have overcome challenges and built successful careers
Join us to build your ability to thrive professionally, particularly in male-dominated workplaces.
Library doors will open at 9:15 a.m. for participants to grab coffee and pasteries. The program will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
Lunch will be provided to participants.
Empowerment in the Workplace requires a $15 registration fee, fully refundable after you attend the event or if you cancel your registration at least 48 hours prior to the event. You will be refunded within 72 hours following the event on May 3, 2025.
If you do not attend or provide notice of cancellation at least 48 hours (by May 1, 2025, by 9:30 a.m.) in advance of the event, Pennsylvania Women Work will keep the registration fee as a donation toward our no-cost career development programs.
