The Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment is excited to announce a Women's Empowerment and Life Protection Seminar. The seminar will take place every Tuesday and Friday night from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, starting on August 19th, with graduation scheduled for September 16th.Leading the seminar is Sensei Reneta Music, an 8th Dan in Japanese/Okinawan karate and the chief instructor of the Shurite Kempo Technique Association. She will teach participants how to be aware of their surroundings, how to survive an attack, and the basics of punches and kicks.
Spaces are limited to 30 women, and we encourage participants to sign up in pairs. This will facilitate practice outside of class time. Acceptable pair combinations include mothers and adult daughters, aunts and nieces, friends, or any two women.
