About this Event

Tired of being "tired." Ready to take your wellness to the next level. IT IS YOUR TIME! Ladies, it is YOUR DAY to relax and rejuvenate all while learning new ways to live well. Come DEFINE YOUR WELLNESS for 2022! Continental breakfast and lunch are included in your day of wellness. Learn from leading-edge speakers and workshop presenters who will provide expert knowledge on critical topics to support your health and well-being.

Bring money to shop with health/wellness businesses and vendors who provide products to heal mind, body, and spirit.

Open to all women - bring a friend and share in the gift of health and happiness! Participation is limited so register early! Early Registration is only $25 . $50 General Admission. Vendor registration is $50.

Vendor set-up on Saturday morning from 8:30 am-9am. **All vendors are asked to donate an item(s) for the "Swag Bag" and/or Door Prize.

Donations are welcome & appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible, and benefit the host organizations C&C Wellness, Inc. , Factors2Max LLC, and L.A.D.Ys Inc. in their endeavor to provide women's wellness education & services.

Conference Sessions Descriptions

  1. Grief: Grief is a response to loss, particularly to the loss of someone or some living thing that has died, to which a bond or affection was formed. Although conventionally focused on the emotional response to loss, grief also has physical, cognitive, behavioral, social, cultural, spiritual, and philosophical dimensions.
  2. Depression and Anxiety: Anxiety disorders are real, serious medical conditions - just as real and serious as physical disorders such as heart disease or diabetes. Anxiety disorders are the most common and pervasive mental disorders in the United States. Depression is a condition in which a person feels discouraged, sad, hopeless, unmotivated, or disinterested in life in general for more than two weeks and when the feelings interfere with daily activities. Major depression is a treatable illness that affects the way a person thinks, feels, behaves, and functions.
  3. Financial: A wealth of information on budgeting, debt management, estate planning, investing, and more. Although the economy may be improving, it may not be the case for every individual. It is time to focus on our “financial decision-making and planning.” This workshop address money management and how to set a budget, practical tips to stretch a dollar, and how to handle unexpected expenses. It also reviews resiliency and the personal characteristics that helped us survive the prolonged dip in the economy, and how we can achieve even greater success now the economy is improving.
  4. Chronic Diseases: Alzheimer's, Dementia, Diabetes, Hypertension -These are the leading causes of disability and death. Although common and costly, many chronic diseases are also preventable. Many chronic diseases are linked to lifestyle choices that are within your own hands to change. The primary necessity of being a good caregiver is learning to take care of yourself. This workshop will outline strategies for caring for the caregiver. This workshop will provide participants information on chronic diseases, how to live a healthy life, and a brief presentation on appropriate care but more emphasis on caregivers’ stress and coping strategies.
  5. Wealth and Networking: A workshop focus on personal wealth building and networking practices that will inspire and motivate.
  6. Meditation/Mindfulness: Learn how staying in the moment can help you take a healthier approach to life situations. Mindfulness meditation is a practice being utilized by athletes, students, moms, in all kinds of settings and is starting to gain traction as a very practical tool that can yield important outcomes. Participants will receive an overview of Mindfulness and why it is a popular topic. The facilitator will guide participants through several meditation exercises.
  7. Nutrition & Physical Fitness: This workshop will help participates navigate the myriad of nutritional information available and W**d through the myths and facts to create a sensible and healthy beginning eating plan. The workshop helps participants recognize that a good exercise program does not have to be vigorous and painful to achieve long-term health benefits.
  8. So embarrassing ….I have never been this “Broke”: Have you ever felt like things just keep happening. You are living your best life and you hit a bump in your journey. The bump may be finances, faith, loneliness, or other things. You are having a feeling of the brokenness of inconsistency in your living abundantly. Your mental, physical, and spiritual wellness are being affected. This workshop will motivate you by providing you with tools and resources.
