About this Event
New research shows Gloucester youth need to be included in the decisions that shape their future and on 26th November, at Gloucester Guildhall, agencies from all over the city will come together for the launch of new research and a film premiere featuring Gloucester’s emerging generation.
The peer-led research by CHISPA was conducted by a specially trained team of youth peer researchers to ensure authentic responses that really tell the story and experience of young people in the city. These stories feature in the film that has been supported by Voices Gloucester.
CHISPA is a youth-led community organisation based in Gloucester, dedicated to amplifying the voices of young people and creating inclusive spaces for skill development, self-expression and active participation in cultural and decision making processes. Voices has offered its support to make sure a diversity of voices are represented in telling stories about today’s experience for future generations.
There will be two shows for the film on 26th November at Guildhall, the first at 2.30-3.30pm is aimed at any agency, organisation, group or individuals who find themselves involved with young people in their work - an opportunity to see the film and find out more about how to access the research, From 4.30-5.30 there will be an opportunity for the city’s schools and colleges to come together - to see their peer’s voices represented and contribute to a Q&A about how they can be a part of moving the dial on their experience.
These events are free, although booking is required.
