Empowering the Heart— One Day Retreat

Join us for a full day of heart lifting practices! A radiant heart needs love and care. Together we will empower the heart space with a variety of experiences.

• CACAO CEREMONY: 30 min. We begin with an intention to connect to the heart through ceremonial cacao. You'll be offered a small cup of this ancient Mayan/Aztec plant medicine to drink.
• LAUGHTER YOGA: 30~40 MIN. A lively yogic breathing practice wrapped in silliness. Your inner child is going to love it!
• ORIGAMI HEART: 30 MIN. In this beginner-friendly craft activity, we'll blend quiet joy with Zen concentration.
• MINDFUL WALK: 45 MIN. Bundle up! We'll be walking along the spectacular shoreline. Please bring a raincoat, umbrella, hat, gloves, and sturdy waterproof shoes.
• ROSE TEA CEREMONY: 20 min. Sit and sip in the aroma of this calming herbal tea and enjoy light nibbles.
• SPIRIT MESSAGES FOR YOUR HEART: 30 min. This will be a short group reading using the Mysteries of Love oracle card deck.
• MEDITATION: 20 MIN. A guided meditation based on Vietnamese Buddist monk Thich Naht Hanh

GOOD TO KNOW:

1. This event is happening rain or shine! All activities will take place, but they may be modified due to the weather.
2. Please plan to not check/use your phone during the retreat. There will be brief moments where photos will be allowed, but we'll practice being offline for most of the day.
3. Please bring a small gift/offering to the Universe that is compostable, ie. a beautiful leaf, a cool rock, a handful of aromatic dried herbs, a small piece of fruit.
