A free workshop and lunch focused on understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia is scheduled for Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10 am- 3 pm in Kalispell. The Alzheimer’s Association in partnership with Logan Health and Flathead County Agency on Aging is hosting this event to provide topics geared towards "Empowering the Caregiver". This informative workshop is designed to educate and support caregivers, family members, and healthcare professionals featuring topics including Dr. Lessmeier on diagnosis of dementia, The Empowered Caregiver Training, Driving and Dementia, and Self-care for caregivers. Flathead County Agency on Aging will also speak on available resources.
The Workshop is taking place at Logan Health Center in the main conference room located at 310 Sunnyview Lane, Entrance A. Participants are encouraged to attend any or all sessions as your schedule allows.
