Empowerment Programme for Senior Citizens ππβ€οΈIn conjunction with Senior Citizens Day 2025, Family Wellness Club in collaboration with RightWill will be having a special programme for seniors titled "Understanding Wills and Trusts : Know the Difference, Know What You Need".
By the year 2030, Malaysia is expected to be an aging nation with the number of seniors aged above 60 years increasing to almost 15% of our population. Thus, there will be more seniors suffering from age related illnesses which may result in them being incapacitated physically or mentally, and unable to make decisions regarding their own care and treatment. For example, if a senior has dementia or is in comatose, the government will not be able to take care of them. Their loved ones too may not have the resources to care for them and pay for their treatments, etc.
How can seniors thus plan before they become incapacitated to use their assets for their care and well-being?
