About the Programme
How can mindfulness change the way we parent? Educator, consultant and author Yin Mee Cheah will suggest some ways for parents to integrate mindfulness into their parenting practices to achieve better connection with their children.
Yin Mee Cheah received her postgraduate education from Stanford University and UC Berkeley. Moving steadily from teaching to being a teacher educator, she launched her own consultancy business specialising in English language teacher education. In 2018, Yin Mee retired from teacher education to focus on teaching mindfulness to adults, seniors, cancer survivors, kindergarten and primary school children.
Mrs Leslie Tan, an experienced teacher, will read to your children and conduct activities for them in an adjacent room so you can pay mindful attention to the talk.
As always, Mrs Gerardine Pang will prepare a handout for you so you bring home mindfulness exercises for yourselves and your children.
