At Boxwood, we are very passionate about supporting local makers, but we also want to highlight women in our community who we believe are truly making a difference. It is with great excitement that Boxwood presents our “Empowering Local Powerful Women” Speaker Series.
Join us on Thursday, March 10th from 7:30-9:30pm for an exciting night featuring three local working women who wear many hats, plus light refreshments from Food by Zaria & sophisticated non-alcoholic cocktails provided by Umbrella Dry Drinks.
This week's speakers include:
1. Martha Carucci: Executive Director of National Breast Center Foundation, Author of Sobrietease & Sobrietease 2: Make It a Double, and contributing writer to VIP Alexandria magazine
2. Lea Pickett: Internal Organization Development Consultant & Leadership Coach for Headquarters Marine Corps at The Pentagon, and co-founder of The INOVO Firm
3. Shamena Nurse-Kingsley: Supervisory Administrative Officer
