Martin University will host the Empowering Excellence Gala: An Evening of Inspiration, Celebration, and Entertainment. This event is a unique and exciting fundraising event scheduled to take place on Friday, April 28th. This black-tie gala will be held at Newfields, Deer Zink Events Pavilion, 4000 Michigan Road in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Last year's special guests included Ricky Smiley, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Indianapolis Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, Ron Jordan, and the Central State Marching Marauders.
Proceeds from this event will fund the Martin WORKS initiative, the Center for Racial Equity and Inclusion, and student scholarships as they embark upon their education at Martin University.
“The theme of Empowering Excellence symbolizes Martin’s mission to educate and encourage all people of every race and nationality," said Martin President Dr. Sean Huddleston.
