Welcome to our event aimed at empowering and uplifting Black and racially minoritised communities! Join us at the Hyson Green Youth Club for a day filled with inspiration and empowerment. We will have;
Organisational Role: The Phoenix Way Midlands is dedicated to supporting, strengthening, and building the capacity of Black and Racially Minoritised Voluntary and Community Sector (BRMVCS) organizations. Through collaboration and advocacy, we engage with mainstream institutions to promote anti-racist, racially just funding and ensure the sustainability of community initiatives.
Engagement Goals: This event aims to engage with local Black and racialised community organizations, exploring their support needs and creating pathways for better funding and capacity building. Our goal is to provide actionable strategies and resources to empower and uplift BRMVCS communities across the Midlands.
Networking Opportunities: Attendees will benefit from a unique opportunity to connect with community leaders, peers, and other key stakeholders. This event fosters a collaborative environment designed to build meaningful relationships, exchange knowledge, and create lasting partnerships for collective growth and impact.
