Empowering Access: Career Resource Fair is a full day of career self-advocacy and skill‑building, including real talk about work, access and what comes next. Expect networking opportunities, engaging workshops, and plenty of chances to connect, ask questions and learn about career accessibility in an inclusive space. Come for the resources, stay for the conversations—and leave feeling more confident about your career journey.
Agenda:
- 9am: Event kick-off
- 9:30am: Keynote speech with Megan Pilatzke
- 10:45am: Skills-building breakout sessions (Networking & Elevator Pitches, Disability Disclosure in the Workplace, Workplace Accommodations)
- 12pm: Lunch break (lunch* provided!!)
- 1pm: Skills-building breakout sessions (How to Effectively Use LinkedIn, Writing a Disclosure Statement, Finding a Job with a Disability)
- 2pm: Network with employers, community and transition support organizations
- 3:30pm: Event ends
