About this Event

Welcome to Empowered Caregivers Empower Self Care! This session is tailored for caregivers of all types! Whether you are a paid caregiver as a registered nurse, licensed vocational nurse, licensed therapist, nursing assistant or physician! Every caregiver is at high risk for burnout! If that was not enough on top of your professional caregiver role most of you are moonlighting as a caregiver for an aging parent, a spouse, a child, or a friend. If this sounds like you, you cannot afford to miss this session! This session will empower YOU to identify and verbalize essential self-care techniques which will help you build resilience for staying in your profession. The strategies presented will help you manage the physical and psychosocial demands of caregiving. This session will cover topics such as balancing self-care with caregiving responsibilities, defining your non-negotiables, navigating healthcare systems especially those where you both give and receive care, effective communication techniques, and accessing support networks. You have a lot on your “shoulders” and we hope you can join for this session designed just for you. Whether you’re a new caregiver or have been in this role for years, the session will deliver valuable insights and tools to support you and help you in taking an active role and voice in self-care.
