Join us for The Empowered Caregiver, an education program by the Alzheimer’s Association with Five County Area Agency on Aging
that teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with
dementia. This program features five topics, including building foundations of caregiving,
supporting independence, communicating effectively, responding to dementia-related behaviors,
and exploring care and support services. As part of the program, you will receive activities to
apply person-centered care approaches to your own caregiving situation.
The Empowered Caregiver will be hosted on October 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00. To learn more and
