A Two-Part Workshop for Yoga Teachers Deepen your confidence, clarity, and connection in offering hands-on support. This immorcive two-session experience explores the why behind assists-rooted in safety, consent, and intuitive touch.
Session One: SUNDAY 10/5/25, 1 pm - 3 pm
We'll dive into the philosophy and purpose of assisting, including discussions on consent, comfort, and nervous system awareness. Through guided demos, hands-on practice, and real-time feedback, you'll explore your relationship with touch. What types of assists do you avoid-and why? Leave with a journal prompt to deepen your self-inquiry between sessions.
Session Two: SUNDAY 10/26/25, 1 pm - 3 pm
We'll begin with light movement and a check-in on how your assists have evolved. In rotating roles (teacher, student, observer), you'll refine your technique, cultivate energetic presence, and practice functional and intuitive assists in real time. We'll close with group reflection and a clear takeaway: How will you integrate this into your teaching?
Whether you're new to touch or ready to refine your skills, this workshop will empower you to assist with integrity, clarity, and care.
IMPORTANT INFO:
-This course is for YOGA TEACHERS only. If you attend both dates and complete the assignment(s) in between you will be eligible to receive 6 CEU's (continuing education credits) with Yoga Alliance
-Course takes place over two Sundays: 10/5/25 & 10/26/25 both included in cost of $100 - Since they aren't back to back weekends (to allow you time to use what you learn before continuing) our system would not allow me to list the 10/26/25 date.
