Become a Youth Peer Advocate (YPA) or Family Peer Advocate (FPA); it's a powerful way to use your lived experience to empower others!
About this Event

These relaxed, in-person gatherings are designed to support you by offering time to:

  • Ask questions
  • Work through login or technical challenges
  • Get support with Level 1 training modules
  • Connect with other participants
  • Talk about your goals and how you want to use peer advocacy in your life and career

Upcoming Empower Hours:

  • Saturday, January 17th | 9:00–11:00 AM
    Professor Java’s Coffee Sanctuary
    145 Wolf Rd, Albany, NY
(Free coffee, snacks, and tablets provided)
  • Tuesday, January 27th | 5:30–7:30 PM
    Delaware Ave Branch Library
    331 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY
    (Pizza and tablets provided)

Simply bring yourself, any questions you have, and (once available) your login information. My goal is to make this process as smooth, supportive, and empowering as possible so you can complete each level, receive your stipends, and earn your credentials at no cost.
