About Catherine:
Catherine Anne Young is an associate therapist, former educator, and mental health advocate. Recognized in North Florida as a thought leader at the intersection of mental health, faith, and culture Catherine has dedicated her professional and academic career to trauma prevention and counseling. Catherine holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from FAMU, A Masters in Social Work from Florida State University and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in counseling and school psychology. She is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid & Rebound & Recovery, An Evidence-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Resiliency Program. In addition to her professional titles, Catherine is the host and founder of The Life Well Podcast a brand dedicated to providing mental health resources through digital content creation, wellness products, and events. She is a dynamic speaker and event host who adores her family and friends, snickerdoodle cookies, and trail runs.
