About this Event

Join us for the Empower Her Health Fair at The Solarium—a day dedicated to connection, empowerment, and wellness for women veterans. This event is designed to provide critical resources and supportive networks for women veterans who may be unfamiliar with the comprehensive health and support services offered by the VA.


Event Highlights:

At the Empower Her Health Fair, you'll have the opportunity to connect with programs, learn from expert discussions, and discover essential services tailored to women veterans. Topics include:

1. Women Veteran Program: Explore services in GYN, VA research, and patient advocacy.

2. Breast Health & Maternity Care: Get guidance and resources for essential health needs.

3. Mental Health & Suicide Prevention: Learn about VA programs and support networks.

4. Caregiver Support: Valuable insights and resources for caregivers of veterans.

5. Eligibility & PACT Act: Understand qualifications and benefits available to veterans.

6. Intimate Partner Violence (IPV): Resources and support for IPV survivors, including LGBTQ+ services.

7. Military Sexual Trauma (MST): Connect with local recovery coordinators for trauma support.

8. Transition Care Management: Essential services for veterans transitioning to civilian life.

9. Advance Directives: Information on creating and managing healthcare directives.


Fun Activities:

Yoga classes, Mindful Art and Craft, and more.


Additional Services:

Flu shots and complimentary blood pressure screenings will also be available.


Upon Arrival:

Please check in at the Registration Desk upon arrival to receive your lunch ticket.


Parking & Accessibility:

Free on-street parking is available, and The Solarium is fully accessible for all guests. Additionally, MARTA bus connections are almost directly in front of the venue, approximately a half block away.


Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks:

Coffee, fruits, and doughnuts will be available in the morning. A delicious lunch will be provided at the venue; just present your lunch ticket at the designated area. Additionally, light snacks and water will be available throughout the day.
