In-person meetings at the center every third Saturday of the month, beginning on February 17, 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.----
Join us for emotional support sessions with different themes every month. In February, we will discuss the stages of grief and share where we are in our journey as amputees. We aim to create a safe and comfortable space to express our emotions freely and connect with others who understand the challenges of amputation and limb differences.

My name is Carrie Lett and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner in Vienna, WV. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Marshall University in Huntington. I also have a Minor in Psychology. I was in an ATV accident 2 years ago that resulted in crushing the fingers on my right hand and the amputation of my pinky finger. One of my biggest struggles was with adjusting emotionally to changes and believing in myself. I am hoping to help others learn to cope through offering Peer and Emotional Support. By talking to others who knew what it felt like after an amputation, it has really helped me move forward!
