Peer Support Worker Programme Launch
Welcome to our online Peer Mentor Support Programme Launch This programme is part of Emotional Dysregulation in Autism Charity (E-DA)
Peer Support Work Programme: Join us for an exclusive event at the Exchange!
This new pilot initiative is a collaborative effort between the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative and the Emotion Dysregulation Autism Charity.
Together, we are proud to present our dedicated Peer Support Worker Programme, a new pilot service. These individuals will offer tailored assistance to 12 inpatients over the course of a year, spanning across three sites.
Focused on fostering meaningful relationships, enhancing emotional regulation skills, and facilitating community reintegration, the program aims to empower individuals in Tier 4 mental health services. From providing education and employment guidance to offering a compassionate ear, the team is committed to helping individuals lead more fulfilling lives.
At Emotional Dysregulation in Autism, we want to bridge the gap between Autism and Mental Health. Our aim is to create a world where young people are free from self harm and suicidality. We believe autism is something to be celebrated and that through our charity, we can not only help young people be able to cope in life but thrive. Join us this May to learn more about the programme and much more.
