We will have Bingo for the residents of Emmaus in the church hall of Ascension Church (part of the St. Philip Parish). Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh provides permanent homes and other related services for adults with intellectual disabilities. This organization is one of the places recommended by Catholic Charities. We will be running a bingo game for the residents.
We will need a caller, people to pass out cards and prizes, and people to sit with some of the residents who need help playing Bingo. We are asked to bring small prizes for the bingo games. Each member is asked to bring a couple of “dollar-store-priced” items. It could be something decorative, or something useful, like lipstick or makeup for the ladies, etc.
Bingo will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. After bingo, Emmaus will be providing a light dinner for everyone until 5:00 PM. Please call Joe at 412-921-1556 to let him know you are coming.
