Temas como “La chica de humo”, “La última luna”, “Todo se derrumbó”, “Tengo mucho que aprender de ti”, “Pobre diablo”, “Sentirme vivo”, “Corazón de melao” y “Quiero dormir cansado”, fueron algunos de los temas que conformarían el repertorio de su siguiente producción y su primer CD+DVD titulado “Retro”.
Tras realizar diversas giras y presentaciones por todo México, Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico, así como diversas actividades promocionales, EMMANUEL regresa a la escena musical con este nuevo álbum en el que como su nombre lo indica, nos presenta nuevas canciones nunca antes escuchadas.
Grabado en Los Ángeles, California y México, la producción que corrió a cargo del mult-premiado productor musical, Aureo Baqueiro, con quien ya había trabajado anteriormente, está integrada por temas compuestos por reconocidos artistas internacionales como Fato, Amaury Gutiérrez, Paty Cantú, Alexander Acha, Pedro Capó, entre otros.
De esta forma, “El Rey del Pop Latino” sigue dentro del reconocimiento y el respeto del público, gracias a su siempre único, moderno, actual y vanguardista estilo, con el cual además se ha caracterizado por ofrecer espectaculares conciertos a nivel internacional.
With millions of albums sold in his career, important recognitions and international tours, EMMANUEL is one of the most prestigious artists in the Spanish-speaking world. He has been characterized for being a leading figure in all his steps and creative in the avant-garde line of music, videos and stage production. All this in addition to being an innovative artist who created his own style and behind him, a whole movement in which his solid trajectory has made him a generational artist and an icon of Latin pop music. In 1976 he won the voice contest of the National Newspaper "El Heraldo de Mexico" and that same year, he composed and recorded his first album titled "10 razones para cantar". A year later his second material "Amor sin final" and in 1979, the album "Al final", with which he was placed in the first lists of popularity.
In this way, his musical career is testimony of the artistic maturity he has reached, becoming a central protagonist of the musical history in our language.
Tracks such as "La chica de humo", "La última luna", "Todo se derrumbó", "Tengo mucho que aprender de ti", "Pobre diablo", "Sentirme vivo", "Corazón de melao" and "Quiero dormir cansado", were some of the songs that would make up the repertoire of his next production and his first CD+DVD titled "Retro".
After touring and performing throughout Mexico, the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as various promotional activities, EMMANUEL returns to the music scene with this new album in which, as its name suggests, presents new songs never heard before.
Recorded in Los Angeles, California and Mexico, the production was in charge of the multi-award winning music producer, Aureo Baqueiro, with whom he has worked before, and is integrated by songs composed by renowned international artists such as Fato, Amaury Gutierrez, Paty Cantu, Alexander Acha, Pedro Capo, among others.
In this way, "The King of Latin Pop" continues to be recognized and respected by the public, thanks to his always unique, modern, current and avant-garde style, with which he has also been characterized by offering spectacular concerts at an international level.
