Emma Benoit became deeply passionate about suicide prevention after surviving a suicide attempt in 2017, the summer before her senior year of high school. A popular varsity cheerleader with a supportive family and friends, Emma silently struggled with depression and anxiety.
Her attempt resulted in a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed but ultimately led her to find faith and purpose. Now, she’s on a mission to use her powerful journey and miraculous recovery to inspire hope and open conversations about mental health. 💙
