We are thrilled to announce that Voices for Independence has been selected by our incredible friends, Emma & Dan, to benefit from donations raised during week 4 (June 16-20) of their Presque Isle Challenge 2024!You may remember this amazing father-daughter duo from last year, as they traveled through Vermont, walking to raise disability awareness and donations for VFI-- we are incredibly grateful to be connected with them again in 2024.
Join us on Monday, June 17, at 9am-- VFI staff and consumers will convene at Presque Isle State Park parking lot #1 (first parking lot on right, upon entering) to give Emma & Dan a proper send-off and say THANK YOU for making us a part of your journey. With varying schedules permitting, a number of us will be joining Emma & Dan for a portion of the day's walk as well!
All proceeds raised from the walk will go toward VFI's wide variety of services offered to the community. As we celebrate 30 years of service, your support will directly impact so many individuals with disabilities who utilize our programs and services, ensuring that we can continue to serve the community for ANOTHER 30 years.
