Emily Carr Inspired Art Class: Spooky Antique Photo Painting

Get into the Halloween spirit in this fun and creative exercise. Learn new and interesting photo-painting techniques from local Therapeutic Arts Practitioner Helga Strauss in the atmospheric setting of Emily Carr's historic home.

This class is uniquely designed to appeal to people of all ages to bring together generations to connect through art-making. We encourage you to register with your child, a parent, a grandparent, a neighbour, or a friend! Or register individually to meet people in your community! All experience levels are welcome!

Helga Strauss is an artist, educator, and therapeutic arts practitioner. In her personal art practice, she creates art every day, following her joy and curiosity. As a teacher for over 30 years, she encourages her students to do the same. Her mission is to help people spark joy, connection, and healing through creative, art-filled play.
