Meet your local heroes and get prepared!Ballina Shire Council is hosting a free, family-friendly Emergency Services Expo at Missingham Park on Saturday 20 September 2025 from 10am to 2.30pm.

✅ See live demonstrations and interactive displays
✅ Explore emergency vehicles and equipment up close
✅ Learn how to prepare a household emergency plan, access alerts and use apps/resources
✅ Fun activities for kids + practical info for adults
This event is all about helping our community build resilience and prepare for emergencies — while having fun and connecting with the people who keep us safe.
After the expo, head next door to the Ballina Skatepark for live local music at the Folded Festival (from 12pm).
