An Emergency Preparedness Workshop will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Ct. The event will provide information and resources regarding emergency plans and preparedness for pets, emergency food and water supply options, and an overview of emergency resources and volunteer opportunities in the village. The workshop is free and open to the public. Interested participants are asked to register by Friday, Nov. 8 using the online form at www.schaumburg.com/emergencypreparedness .
