Only ten spots are left for our upcoming emergency preparedness, first aid and CPR session! This session is intended to empower good sense, allow for some skills practice in a safe and supportive environment, and to encourage participants to render aid in the simplest, and often most beneficial, ways.
The session will explore techniques for administering basic first aid and CPR as well as scenarios suggested by attendees. For example, you will learn to recognize the signs of heart attack and stroke, to act quickly and effectively if someone is choking, to administer CPR and to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Attendees will also be able - but are not required! - to practice these skills and to develop confidence in addressing these and other emergency situations.
The session will also provide you with information you'll need in order to be prepared in case of a public safety or civil emergency situation.
