About this Event
The SLRD is developing a regional Agricultural Emergency Plan.
- Do you feel prepared to protect your farm infrastructure?
- Do you have a plan for moving pets, livestock, and/or horses if needed?
- Have past emergencies led to any lessons learned?
- What sort of information or other support would be helpful for you?
Homesteaders, farmers, and ranchers in the Squamish Valley, Paradise Valley, and other SLRD Area 'D' communities are invited to attend this interactive session to discuss how the Squamish Lillooet Regional District's Emergency Planning Program can play a more supportive role for the agricultural community in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery: whether it's fire, flooding, or debris flows.
We will have a guest speaker, resources, and time for discussion.
Refreshments will be served.
Free event but space is limited so please RSVP - thanks!
