Emergency Medical Responder Recertification Course - Downtown Toronto

Canadian Red Cross Pre-hospital Care courses offer training to first responders and those providing care in a pre-hospital setting. Team approach to professional life-support skills are offered in courses that meet the needs of emergency medical services (EMS) personnel.

All participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross certification.

Requirements: Proof of valid Emergency Medical Responder Canadian Red Cross Certification.100% attendance of the course, 75% score on the multiple choice knowledge test, Successful demonstration of required skills, Successfully complete minimum of two practical scenarios (one medical, one trauma)

This class lasts four (4) days; October 18th-21st from 8am-6pm.

Certification is valid for 3 years.

Includes Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP).

All students are required to purchase or bring their own Professional Responder Student Kit to their training.

Coast2Coast has implemented special protocol in all of our First Aid & CPR training courses. As a provider of safety services, it is our responsibility to protect our students in every way possible. We have enforced specific requirements in our training facilities for instructors and students to follow.

What We Do:

In an effort to combat COVID-19, Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics Inc have invested in disposable student kits to reduce the items shared between participants. When entering our classrooms, students will receive:

1. Individually sealed student kit (2x triangular bandages, gloves, conforming bandage, gauze pad, adhesive tape)

2. Individually sealed pocket mask with one-way filter

Classrooms and training equipment are required to be disinfected before, during and after students enter and leave the facility.

Students and instructors must wear a face mask and a face shield/safety goggles at all times.

Class sizes have been reduced based on government guidelines and physical distancing has been put into effect.

Sanitizer and disinfectant wipes/spray will be available for students and instructors to use at any time.

Students and instructors are required to fill out a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire. If you answer "YES" to any of the questions, you will be required to reschedule your training at least two weeks from your original registration date.
