About this Event
** This training is for West Lothian Council Staff only - please book a place using your Council email address. Bookings made using other email addresses will be cancelled. **
Please do not park at Whitdale as parking is limited and is for Whitdale staff, residents and visitors only. There is parking available at the Cemetery which is located just behind Whitdale. Please arrive at 9am for the training, please do not attend earlier than 9am as this causes disruption for staff and residents at Whitdale. Upon arrival, please use the day centre door and not the main entrance door.
There is a practical element throughout the course so dress comfortably. Anyone with any physical or health concerns, please inform the trainer before training commences to allow them time to adapt.
You must attend the full course to obtain the qualification. There is a written assessment at the end of the day which must be completed.
A first aid handbook will be provided but please bring paper and pens if you would like to take notes.
