Course Aim:
The EFAW + F course is designed for people that are required to work or have access to remote areas, hazardous environments or Forestry and Land Scotland plantations/woods etc.
Course Content:
The role of the first aider
Effective Casualty Communication
Contents of First Aid box & how to avoid cross infection.
Recording of incidents and accidents
Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.
Administer First Aid to a casualty who are unconscious, require CPR & use of AED, are choking, are wounded or bleeding, are in shock, have minor conditions along with the treatment for crush, head/neck, chest injuries. Severe bleeds and Hypothermia etc
