Our Emergency First Aid at Work course is carefully crafted to introduce a systematic approach to first aid, equipping participants with the skills needed to manage casualties effectively. This engaging course strikes a balance between theoretical learning and hands-on practical experience, incorporating realistic real-life scenarios to enhance the learning process. (no POWERPOINT)
Upon successful completion, candidates will:
Understand the pivotal role of a first-aider, emphasizing the importance of preventing cross-infection, recording incidents, and utilizing available equipment.
Assess situations and circumstances to act safely, promptly, and effectively in emergencies.
Administer first aid to an unconscious casualty, including handling seizures anaphylaxis and asthma
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Provide first aid for choking, wounds, bleeding, shock, and minor injuries (cuts, grazes, bruises, burns, scalds, and splinters).
Receive practical training on automated external defibrillators (AED) usage.
The Qualification
Our Emergency First Aid at Work course aligns with HSE regulations and is valid for three years. It ensures the ability to maintain statutory first aid requirements for a workplace according to HSE ’81 and ’97 regulations.
Dates for the courses are detailed below:
Course costs 50.00 and includes registration, certificate, book, face shield, online resources and free tea and coffee.
