Please Join us Saturday, February 8, 2025, 3pm at the Niles Discovery Church, 36600 Niles Blvd. Fremont“From the Bay Area with Love” is a FREE Community Outreach Concert, made possible by the Fremont Bank Foundation and Washington Hospital Healthcare Services. But in this constantly changing world where unexpected tragedies occur, Music at the Mission felt the need to join in the relief efforts for our fellow Californians in the south, whose lives have been upended by the devastating wildfires. So although admission is completely free, we are turning this concert into a benefit to raise money for the Los Angeles Red Cross, 2025 California Wildfires Disaster Relief. Donations collected at this event will go to this cause.
We are proud to present Alex TAITE, tenor whose powerful voice will echo the spirit of those who have overcome disaster and strife through his performance of traditional Negro Spirituals. He will be joined by extraordinary cellist, Robert HOWARD and pianist Aileen CHANCO in a performance of works by Frederic Chopin, Alberto Ginastera, Arvo Pårt, Erich Korngold and Charlie Chaplin.
