Ponente: Dra.
Resumen: "Hadronization is the non-perturbative QCD process by which colored quarks, propagating through strongly interacting systems, become colorless hadrons. The hadronization of quarks is challenging to understand on the basis of fundamental theory, for which reason a wealth of experimental data has been collected in various processes. In this seminar I will discuss quark propagation and hadron formation in the context of Deep Inelastic Scattering off nuclei. The study of this process began with the HERMES program in the late 1990s, and is now continuing at Jefferson Lab. New insights revealing details of hadronization process at the femtometer scales are being obtained from these studies, and experiments of this type can be relevant for the interpretation of jet quenching and Heavy Ion collisions at RHIC and LHC."
