Emerald Trail S-Line Community Cleanup
Come join your Northside Neighbor, Dana Michelle, and the Sierra Club of Northeast Florida as we restore pride on the Northside in Historic Durkeeville!
The Emerald Trail S-Line Community Cleanup is a fun event where we clean up our parks and historic lands. Did you know Durkeeville has 2 sites listed on the National Registry of Historic Places - The AKA House (Bishop Tookes House) and Historic Durkee Gardens.
The event will take place at the Emmett Reed Gymnasium. Bring your friends and family for a day of giving back to our community.
Youth can participate, but if they are under 16 must be joined by a parent/guardian.
Trash grabbers, gloves, and bags will be provided.
You will be required to sign a City of Jacksonville liability waiver.
Pack water and sunscreen.
Wear clothes that are comfortable, weather-appropriate, closed-toe shoes.
