Mark your calendars for a magical evening at Emerald Lake Park on Friday the 13th of December! Emerald Carols by the Lake (brought to you by St Marks Church, Emerald) returns, giving you a chance to get into the Christmas spirit as the lights recede and you sing along to all your festive favorites. It’s the perfect way to kick off your holiday season!
🎄 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Kick off the evening with a community picnic, featuring live performances from local talent, fun activities for children, delicious food options, and a special visit from Santa.
🎶 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Settle in for the main Carols event, where the wonderful Cardinia Civic Concert Band will lead us in heartwarming Christmas tunes.
Bring your picnic blanket, your loved ones, and your best singing voice, and be part of the 7th Annual Emerald Carols by the Lake!
For an extra special touch, we’re thrilled to announce the Puffing Billy Carols Express, which will take you to and from the lake, departing from Belgrave Station in classic style.
On the return, you can once again soak in the magic of steam train travel and the serenity of twilight descending over the lush landscapes at a time of day rarely offered to the public.
Exclusive to the Carols Express, we are also offering the opportunity to board the train at Emerald station for a short journey to the lake and return. Tickets are limited - book ahead to avoid disappointment!
