About this Event
We have teamed up with the fabulous WomanEwer and FABRIC, Nottingham to offer our Artist's Day to the East Midlands Dance Artist community. This is a great opportunity to take part in a workshop, enjoy a FREE lunch and some networking time as well as watch a performance from a brilliant company all in the same day!
You are welcome to attend all 3 elements of the day or 1 or 2 parts, whatever you can manage. Please note this booking is for the morning WORKSHOP ONLY if you would like to book onto the lunchtime networking and/or the performance these will need to be booked separately.
The workshop will be centred around themes of the performance and Laura’s processes in creating the piece.

There is a schedule of the day outlined below:
10.00am – 12.30pm – Workshop with Laura Kenyon (Artistic Director) and company dancers (Studio 2)
12.45 – 2.45pm – Networking Lunch plus 30 minutes or so discussion at end of lunch around current and future needs of our regional dance community and how EMDAN can support led by EMDAN Coordinator Sarah Butler
3 – 5pm – Performance of ‘J’ai une Bleu’ by Womanewer plus Post show Q&A (Studio 1)
