I am delighted to invite you to this half day embroidery workshop where we will stitch a winter seaside scene. You will be able to stitch the design on a felt heart (as shown in the picture) or in a round embroidery hoop. This design was inspired by Studland Bay, Dorset, afavourite place for me. There is something special about capturing a special place in stitches and there will be an opportunity for you to create an embroidery design based on a favourite location for you.
The price is £38 and includes all materials, equipment, printed instructions to keep and light refreshments.
You will learn:
A range of embroidery stitches
How to transfer designs and embroider on felt
The basics of embroidery design
Embroidery tips and techniques
There will also be a range of seasonal embroidery kits and reference books to inspire you. And there will be a little haberdashery store for buying basic embroidery supplies.

This workshop is suitable for practised beginners and those wishing to improve their skills. If you are a complete beginner don’t be put off just let me know and I will make sure we can include you😊
