About this Event
Historic Savannah Foundation and the Davenport House Museum present the Artisan Spotlight Series. The popular series offers engaging, hands-on events at Historic Kennedy Ph*rm*cy and provides a dynamic platform for artists and artisans to share their creative processes with local residents and visitors.
This April, step back in time, and learn the art of embroidery in this interactive workshop led by artist and textile historian Victoria Crabtree. Participants will learn a variety of stitches and techniques and will create their own sampler. Ideal for beginners and embroidery enthusiasts, all participants will be guided through the process of stitching a small replica of the Davenport House Museum, blending history and art into a unique keepsake. The cost of this workshop includes embroidery materials.
