About this Event
Within this workshop we will look at how to create an embroidered design using Couching and slow Stitching.
Couching involves laying a section of embroidery thread (or a similar material) onto your fabric and stitching over it onto the work to form your design. This embroidery technique can be used to create texture within a design and covers a larger surface area.
We will also incorporate running stitch and using different threads.
Course Level: Beginner
Note : If you have a small sewing kit (needles and small scissors) please bring along.
