Please note that this is a program for ages 14+, and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.
Em Vitetta is a local artist who has been exploring the craft of embroidery, finding creative ways to reinvent this classic art form by combining it with watercolour ink, applique and illustration. Em has built up a strong reputation in the Perth Hills with her commissioned works - each piece she creates is intricately unique!
Join Em for this beginner-level embroidery workshop! Whether you're experienced with crafts or a complete newcomer to needlework, come along and discover a new, artistic hobby!
Please bring $5 if you would like to purchase an embroidery beginners pack, which will include fabric, a needle and more. You will also need to bring your own 9" embroidery hoop and brightly-coloured thread (available from most craft stores) so you can continue with your project at home.
In accordance with hygiene requirements, social distancing will be maintained throughout this program and hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use.
