About this Event
Join Samantha from Fig Stitch for an Embroidered Ornament Workshop at Mequon Public Market.Each guest will design and stitch their very own 4-inch hand-embroidered ornament. You’ll choose a word or name to personalize it; options might include your family name (“The Johnsons”), an initial (“J”), or a festive word like Joy or Merry. Samantha will guide you step by step through the stitches needed to complete your ornament, featuring custom text and a holly vine design.You’ll also get to pick from different twine colors to finish your ornament with a special touch!Most guests will complete part of their project during the workshop, and you’ll head home with everything you need to finish it at your own pace. This workshop is beginner-friendly (ages 18+), and no prior embroidery experience is required.All materials are included—plus, you’ll take home a wooden hoop, embroidery floss, and a needle so you can keep stitching long after class with all you've learned.
