About this event:
Kristy Moua is a fourth year student at St. Catherine University. This event is for Moua's final senior project in order to achieve her Bachelor's Degree. The senior seminar/project is essentially a final display created by students to showcase one's learnings of the last few years.
Moua's community project is called: Embroidered Lilies - Poetry For Collective Healing (EL). EL is just a small glimpse to Moua's recent reflections. Moua invites us to navigate identity, culture, grief, healing, and love through poetry. Moua's poetry is shared through the lens of her identities; but at its core she believes her art is rooted in love and in peace. Moua believes EL is not just a senior showcase, but ultimately a showcase for collective healing and for community discussion.
