Learn to embroider on knit swatches using basic stitches. You’ll also learn how to add some sparkle and shine with beaded accents. To complete the projects we’ll frame them in 4” hoops and cleanly finish the backs with wool felt.
After you take this class you’ll want to add embroidery and beads to all of your knitting projects!

Homework/Bring to class: (all other materials are included in your class fee)
• 3 Knitted swatch(es)in stockinette. Must be at least 5” x 5”, no heavier than worsted weight (can use an old gauge swatch, thrifted sweater scrap, etc)
• Fabric shears (We will have some you can use too).
• Optional: Worsted weight stash yarn for embroidery

Betz White was born into a family of makers. Everything from knitting to macrame, sewing to embroidery, photography to screen printing, and any other crafty pastime was an everyday occurrence in the home Betz grew up in.
