Embroider a Floral Photo Holder with Jane

Do you love the idea of hand embroidery but not sure what to do with it?

Textile artist Jane will demonstrate the many ways simple stitches can be combined to create colour, texture and pattern in thread. Whether you are a beginner or you want to refresh your skills you will get hands on experience and advice. You will be guided through traditional hand embroidery techniques and stitches in different coloured threads to create a unique embroidered photo holder.

Feel free to bring a physical photograph with you, you will then be able to acurately embroider around this to create your frame.

All the stitches you learn can be applied to any fabric, garment or accessory so you can continue stitching after the workshop.

Jane is passionate about embroidery and uses it on anything she can get a needle through! Join her in letting your creativity loose!
