Embracing Yourself: A 4 Week Series for Neurodivergent Minds with Gabriella VallecorsaThis 4 week series is for people with high functioning autism and ADHD. Students should be able to attend independently. Each class is one hour long.
Week1: Grounding Flow - Feeling unfocused, restless or over stimulated? This one-hour yoga class is designed for neurodivergent minds, offering gentle movement, deep breathing and grounding techniques to help you find tranquility. No experience is needed - just bring yourself, your breath and an open heart. Together, we will ground ourselves.
Week 2: Grounded in Gratitude - Slow down, breathe and find joy in the present moment. This yoga class is designed for ADHD & autistic minds. Using mindfulness and gentle movement to cultivate tranquility and gratitude. No perfection, no pressure - just a supportive space to reconnect with your body and appreciate the present moment.
Week 3: Embrace Yourself - You are enough just the way you are! This yoga class is designed for ADHD & autistic minds, using breath work, gentle movement and mindfulness to nurture self acceptance. No judgement, no expectations, just a safe space to explore, move and fully embrace yourself.
Week 4: Express & Flow - There is more to yoga than just poses - it's a way to express yourself! This class invite ADHD and autistic minds to freely move, create three made up yoga poses, and tap into creativity through playful movement. No limits, no rules - just fun, supportive space to breathe, stretch and play.
