About this Event

Join tEACo for another workshop at Now or Never: Hobby Hub + Social Club.

The evening will start with a grounding cup of warm tea inviting you into a few mindful moments. From there, we will use the multi-modal expressive arts to interact with the beauty of winter - dry leaves, rough and smooth rocks, decaying limbs, and other winter walk finds. We invite you to bring three or five natural or small objects that remind you of winter. As we interact with these natural elements, we will embrace winter and work with these natural elements as part of our own path of self-discovery. The physical objects we leave with could then be reminders of the joys and warmth of winter.

What are the expressive arts?

The expressive arts are a fundamental part of each person's individual creative journey. They are multi-modal, meaning we engage with different forms such as visual arts, theater, sound, and movement to discover our own inner pathways and self-expression. The expressive arts are for everyone! No prior experience or expertise is needed.

What can you expect in the workshop?

During this workshop, we will invite you to move, connect, create, play, feel and awaken creativity and connection. We are dedicated to fostering a non-discriminatory, inclusive, and safe environment that encourages self-discovery and personal growth through experiential learning, play, creativity, and cultural exchange.

Who is tEACo?

tEACo is The Expressive Art Collaborative, founded in 2025 by Alumni of Salve Regina’s Expressive Arts Program - Jordan Banick, Roxanne DaLomba, Susan Garland, and Leslie Grant. Its mission is to develop and deliver meaningful, process-oriented, multi-modal programs that incorporate movement, sound, writing, visual arts, theater arts, and reflective sharing to promote social-emotional learning, well-being, community engagement, and development.
