What if self-love wasn’t just a concept - but a practice? What if embracing your body pleasure and boundaries was something that you celebrated instead of second-guessed? It is time to rewrite the script on self-love and sexual well-being and we are inviting you to do it in community.
Yaletown Counselling is hosting an intimate and transformative group counselling experience - Embraxing Self-Love & Sexual Well Being. This is a psychoeducational and experiential evening designed to help you explore body positiviy confidence and pleasure - all in a safe and supportive environment.
What to expect:
- The Vulva Decorating Activity because self expression (and desert) is key to body positivity.
- Guided discussions on body image self-compassion and sexual empowerment
- Tools to cultivates self-love - from mindfulness to pleasure practices
- Journaling and reflection exercises to deepen self-awarness
- A supportive community of participants
Meet your bespoke group facilitator:
Taryn Weninger a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She has completed a specialization in Sex Therapy from the University of Guelph. She provides a supportive environment for individuals to explore and enhance their self-love and sexual well-being. Her approach integrates therapeutic techniques aimed at promoting self-acceptance body positivity and healthy sexual expression.
This isn’t just another lecture. It’s a hands on interactive and thought provoking space where we can challenge societal norms rewrite outdated narratives and embrace our bodies in all their uniqueness.
